Joulukuu- December

Joulukuu on nyt tullut ja on aika avata kalenterin ensimmäinen luukku. Tänä vuonna äitini taas kerran vastaa kalenterihankinnoista. Sain perinteisen luukkukalenterin sekä namit itsetehtyyn pussikalenteriin. Täytyypä mainostaa, että äitini on piirtänyt tähän kalenteriin 14 luukkua.

It's once again time to open the Christmas calender. I get my two calenders from my mom. One normal with pictures and one with candies. And I need to advertice that my mom has drawed 14 pictures to this calender.

Tom-Tom

Mieheni osti meille Tom-Tomin, jotta voisin liikkua paremmin täällä Hollannissa. Tänään kun vein mieheni lentokentälle, ajettelin paluumatkalla tutustua johonkin uuteen sisustusliikkeeseen. Valitsin www.nijhofbaarn.nl. Liike on tosi kiva, "luksus" rautakaupan tavaraa ja sisustustuotteita.

Tom-Tomin mukaan matkaan kuluu aikaa n. 30 min, mutta jotenkin sain 1h kulumaan. Itseasiassa tiedän syynkin. Eli jos Tomppa sanoo että pysy sillä vasemman puoleisella kaistalla niin se myös tarkoittaa sitä vasemman puoleista kaistaa eikä oikean puoleista kaistaa. Ja kun neuvotaan 800 metrin päästä kääntymään niin se ei ole sama asia kuin kääntyä 200 metrin päästä. Mutta löysin kuin löysinkin perille, ja ensi kerralla toivon mukaan jopa puolta nopeammin.

My man bought us Tom-Tom, so that I could travel better here in Holland. On the way back from airport, I decided to pop-in to some new inteorstore. I chosed www.nijhofbaarn.nl. It's a really nice store, "luksus" hardware- and inteorstuf.

Bij according to Tom-Tom traveling should take about 30 min, but somehow I managed to use 1 hour. In fackt I know the reason. If Tomppa says thta u should stay in the left side of the road then it actually meens left side and not the right side. And if I should turn after 800 meters, it's not same thing to turn after 200 meters. But I found my way there, and hopefully next time lot faster.

I bought there these two boxes.

Eteinen + kodinhoitohuone - Hallway + home take care room

Tässä kuvia remontin keskeltä. Vanha eteinen oli pieni ja synkeä.

Here is pictures from the renovation. Hallway was really small and dark.
Remontissa ovi vaihtoi hiukan paikkaa ja eteiseen tuli uudet ikkunat.

After the renovation has de door new place and new windows.

Tytönhuone- Girlsroom

Viimeisin projektini on liittynyt tyttäremme huoneeseen. Olen tehnyt tyynyjä ison kasan. Tilkkuista olisi myös tarkoitus tehdä tilkkupeitto sängyn päälle. Huoneen väreinä ovat beige, vaalenpunainen, virheä.

Lately I been working with our doughters room. I have made a lot of pillows. I'm going to make a quilt over the bed from same fabriks. The colours for the room are going to be beige, pink and green.

Ohessa kuva myös huoneeseen tulevasta lipastosta, jonka aiemmin maalasin vihreäksi.

Josko jo täksi jouluksi - Mayby for this Christmas

Tässä on projektini: ristipistotyö, joka toivon mukaan valmistuu täksi jouluksi. Melkein vuoden tuo työ on seissyt kaapissa odottamassa viimeistelyjä. Jospa nyt se inspiraatio iskisi. Ihanahan tuosta tulee, sille ei voi mitään. Vielä kauniit kehykset siihen niin siinä on joulukoriste vuosiksi eteenpäin.

Here is my project: Cross-stitch work, which hopefully is ready for this Chrismas. The work has stayed in my cabin waiting to be finished for almost a year. I hope that the inspiration would come. All I need is beautiful frames and then I will have a Christmas decoration for years to come.

Perhoset jouluna - Butterflies at Christmas

Taas se vuoden aika lähestyy, että joulu tekee tuloaa. Itse asiassa ensikki täällä Hollannissa tulee Sinteklaas. Tähän perinteeseen en ole vielä oikein kasvanut, muuten kuin että tykkään syödä suklaakirjaimia - nam. Tästä syystä Sinteklaas häviää minun asteikolla joululle.

Joulun valmistelut aloitan yleensä hyvin aikaisin. Tänä vuonna ostin ekat koristeet jo elokuussa, kun löysin sattumalta kauniita edullisia perhosia. Siskolleni yritin jo viimejouluna ostaa lahjaksi perhosia, mutta hänen jouluunsa mielestä perhoset eivät ole kauhean jouluisia, joten lupaa ostolle ei irronnut. No, meillä mennään sitten enemmän trendien mukaan ja nuo kesäiset perhoset pääsevät meidän ruskea, oranssi, kulta -värityksiseen kuuseen.

Soon it will be Christmas time. Actually in Holland first comes here Sinteklaas. I have to say that I haven't learned to celebrite it. Only thing I do, is that I eat chocolate letters - nam. Thats way Christmas is for me more important.

My Christmas begins usually wery early. This year I bought my first items in August. I found some inexpensive beautiful butterflies. Last Christmas I tried to buy for my sister some butterflies for a present. She didn't like the idea, because butterflies don't belong to Christmas (I wasn't allowed to buy those). But in our home we go with the trend and the butterflies have a place in our brown, orange and golden Christmas tree.

Uusi istuin alue- New sitting place

Tämän loppukesän saldona tuli tehtyä uusi istuin alue pihalle. Mieheni oli puhunut iät ja ajat siitä, että tuohon keskelle tehdään sitten sellainen ympyrä istuipaikka. Pensaatkin oli jo valmiiksi ympyrässä, mutta kivet puuttui. Niin ja nuo kivet, joiden päällä näkyy tuo muovinen kammottava ruokailuryhmä, ne kaikki poistuu. Muutoksen huomaa. Vai mitä?

At the end of this summer we made still one big change in our garden. My man always talked that we should make a round sitting place. The bushes were already in a circle, but the stones were missing. The stones, that you can see in the before picture, we took later out. And also the plastic furniture. You can really see the change or what?

Opening - Aloitus

Päätin aloittaa tämän kirjoittelun, jotta tutut ja tuntemattomat voivat seurata meidän talon edistymistä sekä muita projektejani.

Avomieheni on asunnut tässä jo yli 8 vuotta. Oikeastaan vasta kun minä saavuin taloon asumaan reilut 1,5 vuotta sitten, on alkanut tapahtua. Autokatos ja studio olivat valmiina, kun tulin tänne. Sen jälkeen on remontoitu kodinhoitohuone, vessa, eteinen niin ja yksi kylppäri. Vähän on myös pihaa laitettu. Mutta vielä on pitkä matka unelmieni kartanoon.

Usein vaivaa epätoivo, kun tätä paikkaa katselee, etenkin sateella. Uskon mieheni kanssa kuitenkin, että tämä on se meidän hiomaton timatti, jossa haluamme asua lopun elämäämme. Kunhan vain rahat riittäsi tämän timantin hiomiseen. Mutta se onkin toinen juttu se.

I decided to start writing, so that people who know me and who don't can follow up this house coming together and my other projekt. I try to translate some of the parts also in English, so that more people can follow up.

My man has been living here about 8 years and I have lived here 1.5 year. And lot of things started to happen when I moved here. When I came in the picture, the only thing what was ready was the place for car and the studio. After that we have worked with hallway, wc, home take care room and one bathroom. And we also have done some work with the garden.

Sometimes I get really despered when I look at this place. Mostly when it's raining. But this is the place where we want to live for the rest of our lives. At the moment it's a diamand that needs a bit of polishing. And I hope we have enough money to polish it.
